Sweet! Hopefully the weather will be nice, and I'll be able to see this.
Why'd you post this in two places?

Why do we need two sections that are for pretty much the same thing?

It's snowy (but not snowing) here right now. The perfect setting for a Lunar Eclipse. Not to mention, I'm going to have a full view of it. *brags*

Nice to know that all across the states we're having the same weather...Florida, California, New Jersey.

It's perfect conditions here in Minnesota. It's a very clear sky. About -1 degrees Fahrenheit, but no wind. I might walk out in my T-shirt and sandals in the snow and take pictures of the moon with my Nikon D50. Hopefully it turns out well because the auto-focus on my lens randomly jams... (because of my brother damaging it).

We have rain tonight. Maybe we'll get lucky and get some moonlight anyway. And is it just me, or do eclipses always seem to occur on full moons?

They
always appear on fullmoons.
During full moons, the moon is "behind" the earth, but not blocked, so the lit of portion of the moon is fully facing us. When the earth blocks the moon is how a lunar eclipse happens.

Yeah, same here. I was sitting outside with a few friends at the local Outback. Watched the moon disappear, then the clouds came in.
Does anyone have any pictures?

It's so Awesome! I just wanna stay out there for ever and stare at it, but sadly

It's really cold here in Minnesota, but clear. Sorry for those of you with the cloudy-ism, it's really really cool. I took pictures too.
