Alright, so go ahead. What are you going to be this year? Feel free to post pictures.
And yes, I made a thread that was sort of like this awhile back but it was more of a general Halloween thread. This is for costumes and costume ideas only. And for all those wolf/werewolf fursuits we have floating around here!

I'm dressing up as Rick from Splatterhouse, one of the very first survival horror games. I'm using the mask from the third one, so that people don't mistake me for Jason.
Dammit, when are they gonna release that fourth one?! I heard that they were delaying it until after Manunt Two, to see how well taht was received, but still!

I'm not dressing up in a costume, but I might wear my Naruto headband just for the hell of it. (Cause I don't have anything else that is remotely like dressing up.)
>_> I look terrible in this picture.

You have to be careful when you do wolf costumes because if there isnt enough deatil, everybody will mistake you for a cat.

It's funny, when I go out as Maggie, the parents always say "look at the doggy!"(maybe they think that a wolf would scare their kid), and the kids always say with an exasperated sigh, "Mooooooommm, it's a wolf!".
hehe
Just look out for idiot teenage boys who run up and pour blue slushie down your back!

I am going to dress up as Professor Henry 'Indiana' Jones Jr. this year. Muahahah!!! I love it when Indy's dad calls him Junior.

Given the detail, it probably has. The kids seem to think it's funny to see the 'suiter "spazz out" from the unexpected cold stuff.
They don't care that they may have ruined an expensive costume...but then, the mask keeps them from identifying you when you beat them senseless...

We don't do Halloween on this side of the planet, so the only way I'm celebrating Halloween is on World of Warcraft with treats and tricks.

Nothing-to-Prove isn't gonna be finished so I'm toggling my Hallowe'en costume.
I'm going to be a Renaissance Werewolf-Witch. I have the mask, I'm making the legs and paws, I have the walking stick, and I just picked up a Renaissance dress at Spirit. I was going to save it until next summer, when I'll be doing Heritage Tack & Attire classes with Tagie, but I'll use it now.
The pelvic harness isn't working out on the puppet. I can't control the sway and wobble in the torso, too much play. So I'm taking the parts I have finished and cobbling something together.
We've been getting some real violent crime happening around here; last night someone went around setting fires in dumpsters next to buildings downtown. The Mall's too tame, downtown is too nasty, I'll stay home and be the coolest Trick-or-Treat stop in the neighbourhood.

Well, my friend had a costume party a few weekends back.
I went through some of my old costumes and found a White Werewolf mask, that was slightly deformed.
So, I said "f*** it" grabbed my Ammy gloves I made for my cosplay, grabbed a black cape and put on the mask for the party.
It was a s*** costume, I admit.
But, we ended up going to the store and weirding people out.
Fun stuff.
The picture still makes me laugh, cause it looks so bad.

So from now on we will all refer to you as "Junior".

CP- I don't go around begging for candy, but I will jump at any opportunity to wear a costume.
Just because I'm an adult by age doesn't mean I am obligated to repress my sense of fun.

Never said anything about anybody being too old for it.
My mind automaticlly associated costumes with trick or treating and did not think of someone just wearing a costume. I was just saying that I used to but don't anymore.
I am glad that you are having fun

Around here, adults trick-or-treat, too. If an adult comes to my door in a costume, you bet s/he's gettin' the goodies!
I've also been known to give a prize to the costume I liked best. It's usually something cool, like See's bonbons, a small plush, a nice holiday-themed candle. This year it's going to be a Screamin' Mimi, a toy I found in the Fred Meyer Hallowe'en aisle. She has a great expression and the soundbyte is a terrific scream.
You could say my Trick-or-Treat stop is an informal costume contest with a judging panel of one!
