One of my DA friends posted this in her journal. The word needs to be spread.

There's an incident circulating the news section of dA about a Hungarian director whose short movie raised the hackles of animal lovers everywhere.
In one scene of this movie a kitten was drowned, held under water and forced to struggle helplessly for life. He totally glorified the death of an innocent creature- killed it in the 'name of art'.

There is a SEVERE warning when watching it. It made even me cry, and I cry only...like...once a year. It will make you wished you had never seen it, and will make you want to spread the news as I am.

They deserve to contract the very worse kind of cancers and suffer a long, lingering death.

I consider myself VERY broadminded, but this kind of nastiness is inexcusable. I have come across this kind off stuff before, they need to be tracked down and prosecuted. Sick bastards

How is drowning a kitten art, again? What, exactly, is this dumbass's defense? Plainly saying "don't censor my art!" is ridiculous because it's not art. In what possible way can killing something on camera be considered art? It's animal cruelty and he should be arrested... Hungary has animal cruelty laws, right?

I am a pretty forgiving person but I can not forgive something as crule as this. It's not art it's animal crulety! This man should be charged to the fullest extent of the law in Hungry and anything made from the video should be taken from him. He deserves to pay.

I think I just died a bit inside..That was truly sickening..I was prayed it wasn't real what you posted, but it really happened..Their is no art in killing anything..That kitten..it didn't have a chance..When I posted that thread on server animal cruelty alot of folks tried to defend that, you can't defend an say this is right..That my friends his indeed a definate case of animal cruelty an one of the worse because this kitten had no second chance..Most humans need to suffer like that poor guy did..He was so little..*sighs* I can only hope an pray that guy has the same thing happen to him or better yet make him suffer worse..Keep him alive an make him beg to be killed..Torture his a**

That's in no way art. Lives shouldn't be lost to make art. Especially if the so-called art is focused entirely on that loss of life.
