V for Vendetta and The Punisher: Welcome Back, Frank are both good. As for comics, I like The Punisher MAX and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (shutup, it's awesome... and violent. They kill people and stuff). As an added bonus, I have a couple of internet comics I like:

8-Bit Theater
Penny Arcade

I also like Hsu and Chan.

Other than that, though, I'm not a big comics fan. My friend, though, is an uber comic geek. He'd be the person to ask this question.

Off topic: What the hell is up with Metamorphosis? It's everywhere!

Well, it's a short story, it's a play (I think...), it's a few movies (I think), it has a short reference in Mel Brooks's The Producers... And I'd never heard of it before last year, but apparently it's old. What is it about?

Its about a man who wakes up, to find out that he has somehow turned into a giant cockroach. He still thinks the same as always, though with a few roachy instincts. Of course his family freaks out when they see him. Its really just about him being locked up in his room for months on end while his family grudgingly takes care of him...I cant explain it to well; just read the descriptions on the link for a better idea :)
Its both a dark comedy and quite depressing too. I loved the graphic novel version. Based off of a short story by Kafka, in the 19th century :D

EDIT: Oops it says graphic NOVELS. Well I have a couple of those. The Fog, (Ill wager theres heaps of writers who did that), and there's one about a Unicorn hunter, it's a manga, only Manga I own I think, but it's a great story, its a series though. Im currently saving for some graphic novels. There are 100s I want. It's a pity that for a good Superman one it can cost up to $70 if not more. I went to buy a Hellboy one a few months ago; $50! And it was black and white. I simply don't always have excess money right now.

----

I have gigantic collections of comic books. As soon as I get this Uni assignment out of the way (which I am speedily multi tasking and doing this very minute), have worked my 8.5 hours tomorrow at work, and been to the gym, and hung with Alyce at night (Yes, it's a very long day every Friday)....-goes on and on about crap she has to do-

I will try and list some!!!! :D

I tend to buy very random titles, since there is only one comic store here. I often go to second hand book shops and pick whatever I feel looks good, if I can't get a series.

There's a little list of these that I maintain (allthough I haven't updated / expanded it in a long time, if someone else wants to take a crack at it...)
Go fer it.

Now, some of what is in that list is lude, graphic and violent. Some of it isn't. I'd recommend Black Tapestries any day of the week though (as well a Shivae, once I add the darned link).

I read quite a few web comics... there's a lot of stuff out there that's comparable quality to published stuff (in fact some of the web comics I read are now available in book form). Some of these do have werewolf characters or themes though (I wonder what happens when you go off topic in an off topic topic...) Anyway this list (in no particular order) is of web comics I particularly enjoy reading.

http://www.sluggy.com/ - Sluggy Freelance - one of the biggest web comics about. It's gone off the boil a bit recently but some of the older archive stuff is excellent.
http://blacktapestries.comicgen.com/ - Black Tapestries - on hold at the moment but it's a good story.
http://2kinds.com/ - Two Kinds - some similar ideas to the above but taken in a very different direction. Manga style.
http://www.wanderingones.com/ - Wandering Ones - It's what you'd get if Rudyard Kipling divested himself of his 19th-century attitudes and wrote a post-catastrophic story. If you can put up with the occasional lapses into Wilderness Tracking 101 it's well worth while.
http://alphaluna.comicgenesis.com/ - Alpha Luna - the werewolf webcomic. It's good.
http://www.questionablecontent.net/ - Questionable Content - amusing comic about indie music fans with a slight science fiction tone to it.
http://foxfire.comicgenesis.com/ - Foxfire Chronicles - comic about top-secret military werefoxes. Not nearly as silly as that summary makes it sound.
http://www.kismetropolis.com/ - Kismetropolis - about someone who wishes for "a life less ordinary" and is in danger of getting just that.
http://www.suburbanjungle.com/index.html - Suburban Jungle - fairly general comic with interesting anthropomorphic animal characters.
http://www.thewotch.com/ - The Wotch - it's "witch" spelt wrong. It's about teenagers but it's still a good story.
http://www.kiwisbybeat.com/minus.html - Minus - it's a very odd and a bit creepy strip about a little girl who can do anything she puts her mind to. Not the usual comic style of art either - more like water-colours.
http://www.userfriendly.org/ - User Friendly - the web comic that got me reading web comics in the first place. Workplace comic about an internet provider.
http://www.overduemedia.com/ - Unshelved - the latest thing I'm reading. Another workplace story; this time it's a library.

As for dead tree comics... I'm woefully behind with my reading of them, but lately I'm busy catching up on "Fables". I just finished the fourth TPB of the series over the break and am hoping to pick up some more soon (once my local comic shop manages to order them).
