Aww, poor little mousie.

That's great that you rescued them though!
Was this a bio lab or a psych lab?

I'm sorry ta hear that, Guitarrista. My lil bra's first pet was a mouse. He was dedicated ta makin' sure it was healthy an' happy, especially when it looked like it had some kind of skin disorder. Despite all that, it still died a month later, just because. I'm glad ta hear yers lasted as long as it did.

Thanks guys

, it means a lot to me.
I will howl for your rat, too, Spongypants!

(Same to you about the smiling portion). I hope your rat has a great next life.
And Templar, sometimes skin diseases take their lives quickly. It's sometimes unavoidable, especially since mice are so small and difficult to monitor.
Pariah, it was a biology lab. I managed to take them all home. I don't like dissecting animals or doing any sort of experiment on them. I manage to avoid most of them (Such as dissections). Because they are unethical. I don't believe in the 'Greater Good' when it comes to classes, because we can learn many other ways. Frankly it's nothing but a waste of time in my opinion to experiment on animals and dissect them when there are alternatives in this day and age. Same goes for testing on animals.
The experiments on the mice were utterly stupid really. They freaked out and everything. Mine lived happily and such. But Nikita is very upset. I can't wait to get two more, but she is currently quarantined alone until we're sure it wasn't a disease, with regular checks from me and such all day. I think Willow personally died of old age since being a lab bred mice from an actual laboratory company, she had a shortened lifespan according to people I've talked to, and susceptible to things like tumors.

Aww thanks guys.
Apparently, I'm not to buy new mice, I'm to leave her as she may not have long left

so I have to watch her closely. I'm going to leave her for a bit and if she's still acting odd because she is alone, I'm going to get new ones anyway. I need more than one opinion I think. I'm concerned because Nikita just sits in her house or comes to sniff me and eat. I don't think she's playing. She's grieving, or she's confused.
