Gerald Ford is dead.

For those of you young uns he was the 38th President of the United States. He basically saw us out of Vietnam, and ended the horrors of Nixon's white house. His wife Betty founded the Betty Ford clinic which has helped countless addicts over the years.

I'm no fan of Republicans, but he was a genuinely nice man who frequented my home state of Colorado quite a bit.

Actually, it was Nixon who got us out of Vietnam.

Actually, it was Nixon who got us out of Vietnam.

Ford was there when it ended for the Vietnamese, but the last American troops left Vietnam in March 1973. Nixon resigned in August '74.

Pretty sure. I checked Wikipedia, and then checked three more sites just to make sure that Wikipedia was right, and they all had the same information.

Alright then, but I'am not sure how much leading Nixon did during Watergate
