Around Halloween, they always bump up the number of werewolf movies dramatically, and it is often the only time when the more obscure films have any chance of appearing at all.

From looking at my schedule, here's what appearing on American cable channels between now and Monday October 23rd:

Mon Oct 16, 10:30am Central Time (one hour from now): Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet the Wolfman on the Cartoon Network

Tue Oct 17, 10:30am Central Time Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island (this has werecats in it, at the very end) on the Cartoon Network

Sat Oct 21, 2:30pm-7pm Central Time, all the Halloweentown movies (at least two of which have extremely brief appearances of a werewolf) on the Disney Channel

Sun Oct 22 4:30 pm Central Time, Wolfen on American Movie Classics

Mon Oct 23 4:00 am Central Time, The Undying Monster on American Movie Classics

Mon Oct 23 at Noon Central Time, a repeat of Wolfen on American Movie Classics

My current schedule only goes up to Monday the 23rd, I'm sure there'll be more werewolf movies on TV even closer to Halloween. I'll probably add more later, and I encourage everyone else to do so too. Please be sure to say what country (if not America) your schedule is for, and what channel the movie appears on. Also, there may be werewolf-related TV episodes I've missed; go ahead and list them too.

I loved "The Fly"! Brundle Fly as he calls himself. Thought it was a pretty amusing film. Wish I had any of those channels ><

Maybe its just me but I thought there was some serious bad acting in that movie. I mean I love Gary Oldman but that movie was just seriously cheesy. Expecially at the end.

Though the guy who played Renfield, Tom Waits, is an awesome muscian!

I thought the acting for Dr Van Helsing was spot-on, myself. I thought it was just PERFECT that he was so jaded that he was just rattling off details of someone's gruesome death while cutting a rare steak....

Hmmmmmm.... I think Gary Oldman and Anthony Hopkins acted well, but none of the others...

I see another to add to the schedule too: The Howling IV at 8am central time Friday Oct. 27, on the Sc-fi Channel. It's a pretty bad movie, where you wait and wait for something to happen, and then at the end, you finally get it. A whole bunch of transformation and a lot of werewolves running around in partially-transformed or fully-transformed states (with about 8 separate designs that do not seem at all contiguous with each other). It's a chaotic, nonsensical but fun scene, and its about the only reason to see the film.
