Here's one I did a couple of years ago. I was showing my dedication to the game Steel Battalion. (The XB game that uses that huge controller.) Japanese characters are difficult as hell to carve.

I love carving pumpkins! I do the sickest ones sometimes. We used to have white pumpkins. I bought two of them one year, did a skull and Pinhead. Yeah, I did the lines and drove nails at the intersections. Looked savagely creepy with that cold, po-faced expression of his.
That "Freedom of Speech" pumpkin was exceptionally cool. So were the Conjoined Twins and the Electrocution one.
My current pair is a couple craft pumpkins. One is leering at the other and the other has this standard "GASP!" got-the-willies look.
I'm probably going to be travelling this year so I'm only gonna carve one pumpkin, but I got a neat idea from the Electrocution one. I'll post a pic when I do it.

I forgot about Halloween!

It's my birthday soon too. Which means I better get started on Halloween. I have a costume sussed out I guess. I bought a werewolf mask last year, I've never had one so I'm excited. I'll run around the streets playing guitar, I think, with my mask and tail.
I would love to carve a pumpkin. I've never even done it before...it's not common here I guess. Those are very cool designs! The radioactive one haha!

It's the goofy non-traditional ones that I love.

Fresh or craft? If the former, don't carve 'em yet! We got another week to October and they'll MELT by Hallowe'en. And pumpkin rot is some of the worst there is
My neighbours across the street let theirs melt on their porch last year. It was bad...until they mummified...then it was worse...

Two real pumpkins. I just like looking at them. Its too soon to carve them. So they're just hanging out on my balcony. Ill get bigger ones in October to carve.
