Aside from another Pack member's near brush with a speeding ticket in Freeborn county, I've discovered the name in some other places by way of a Google search...

Aside from the astonishing name coincidence of one of the people involved in The Howling, there was also a Kay Freeborn, who's credits include "Haunted Honeymoon," a movie that also features a werewolf at some point. She was a makeup artist.

And, if you're in the U.K., Freeborn is the place you can go to get the car that in at least one ad was shown transforming into a dancing robot.

There's also a book in the works set in the Wild West, by the Freeborn title. Here's it's web site. Just when you don't think there could be any lycanthropic coincidences, take a look at the logo of a certain type of animal in the upper left corner.

a non-vat concieved clanner from Battletch is called a freeborn (or freebirth, which is also used as an insult)
