Ya know... it can get annoying to be a member of multiple maps... but I found this one that uses Google's technology. I can even see my apartment building on this one.

So, without further ado... join this! Or, make a PACK Frap!

Gosh darn it Fig! Move a few miles West so I can see who that is you're blocking!

EDIT:
*zooms in reaaaaally really close*
Hm. You know, considering it's mapping out the entire planet, it wasn't that far off. :P

Holy &%$#!....

I just realized how far I could zoom in with the frapper map.

I can almost pick out my car in the parking lot (or where it would be if I had been parked in my usual spot in front of the apartments when the photo was taken, anyway).

It's too bad the map wont allow you to specify closer than the general aria code...otherwise I could pin-point exactly which corner of the building I am in as I am typing right now.

Meh...I think I will anyway.

"Hello!..."

I still poke around a bit... I had some time last night and this morning to goof off online, and so I have. Where I used to have a couple hours of it per day, I have about 15 minutes per day. I'm still lurking for the most part (responding to and reading a lot less than I used to).

Wow...I think I can see my car in the parking lot. @_@

:edit
No, nevermind, this is about a year old. I see that the new dorm is still under construction. Hey, there's the tree by the BSM that Magan and I climb and meow at people from! :)

Google's maps are so good, that I can see my patio, and the speed bump in the parking lot in front of my house.

They need to update the pic of my house. All the houses are finished being built. The pic they have still has empty lots.

will http://www.earth.google.com have the detail you want? It looks very good but i never got round to testing it out.

That's weird. It doesn't have the right place where I live. I live just near the graveyard. I AM on Wayan ave but not there...I don't think. Maybe I haven't been here long enough to recognize my own area.

Yes! google earth is awesome! My area was very detailed. Not every city has the same detail level, though.

You know what the only depressing thing about the satellite image is? Being able to mark everywhere you've been in the past month in one single BMP. :P

http://community.webshots.com/photo/481 ... 2641vsFhKm

Red: Where I live (first floor, look for the rubber duck).
Blue: Where my mailbox is.
Yellow: Boyden Hall, where most of my classes are.
Green: Campus Plaza where I do my banking, grocery shopping, video rentals and trips to McDonalds when it's late and the only other place still open is KFC.
Pink: The Rondileau Campus Center, home of the Commuter Cafeteria (great food except for Quijotes, which was originally a Taco Bell but was distanced from the chain restaurant because it didn't meet Taco Bell's standards of quality (and this is the company that pioneered the $0.29 taco, so how bad must that be?)), as well as my another good portion of the classes I've taken.
Orange: The haunted art building..
Purple: The Daily Grind. Great coffee.
Brown: The egg farmer I have to walk by on my way to class every day -- I'm alsmost certain this is the only place on Earth where you can simultaneously hear roosters crowing to your left and 200-watt bass-cranked car steroes on your right.
