Damn... I want to buy Conker's Bad Fur Day (finally), but I can't decide whether to get the Xbox version for the graphics (which are just AMAZING, especially for a last gen game... Rare does it again), or the N64 version for the uncensored swearing (the lack of which may get in the way get in the way of my enjoyment of the cutscenes)... Leaning toward the N64 version.

I heard you can get uncensored swearing in the Xbox version if you beat the campaign mode. This was confirmed by Rare's letters page.

Also, is anyone but me looking forward to Banjo Kazooie 3?

Only in the multiplayer mode, I'm afraid... Which I won't likely be using. Damn it, how do you pussify something that was nearly uncensored on a Nintendo system?

As for Banjo Kazooie 3, I don't know... I didn't play the first one all that much, and the second one I never did. Never owned them, though, so who knows, maybe I'd love them. Let's add them to the list of things to get... It's Rare, after all.

I don't know if the movie's good, but that's one of the funnier posters I've seen in a long time.

Today is my last day of summer. Tomorrow I'm starting another semester of school. Time to get back to the seing of things; time to write papers, read famous literary works, etc.

I just had to post this. There is a site called Conservapedia, which was founded by someone who for some reason decided that Wikipedia was too Liberal, and so started a site meant to be a strictly conservative version of what Wikipedia is. Rather than state facts, as Wikipedia is meant to do, it is instead mainly used to support a pro-conservative agenda. It's incredibly ridiculous. Anyway, I just ran into a particular article that I just felt would be interesting to share...
The same-sex "marriage" movement is seeks to destroy the sanctity of marriage by using political power to enforce a redefinition of the concept. The aim is to prevent any criticism, particularly religious-based criticism, of homosexual relationships.

The rationale goes like this:

* Marriage is good.
* No one can criticize what is good.
* A same-sex union, defined as marriage, is good.
* Therefore, no one can criticize same-sex unions.
There you have it. Someone out there thinks that gay people just want to get married to justify being gay.
