Probably Ninja Science Team Gaitchaman (however that's spelled) dubbed into Battle of the Planets. But, it was Star Blazers (Space Battle Cruiser Yamato) that got me going.

The first anime I remember watching was Voltron. But I didn't actually get into it until I found Dragonball.

First anime...

I don't remember exactly how long ago it was, but I'm pretty sure it was SciFi's Japanimation that did the trick. I've no idea what the names were for the majority of what I saw, though. I do remember Armitage and Tenchi Muyo. On an unrelated note, sometime, somewhere, there was Speed Racer -- who knows when. Eventually Sailor Moon came along, which I watched off and on with my sister. After that, I think Dragonball Z came into the picture, which got me into fansubbing (each episode was only about 17mb back then, but it took an entire day to download on a 56k modem). I eventually polished off DBZ and went on to Flame of Recca.

That's about what the beginning looked like.

first anime I remember watching in my entire life is.......Sonic the Hedgehog(from 12 years ago) I love that little blue guy. then I started watching sailor moon(Mercury is my favroite) and DBZ

I've seen that when i saw young. Loved it. Hilrarious show.

My first Anime was either Tenchi Muyo or the anime movie 'Akira', though i only remeber bits and peices of Akira (Like the cool bike!)

did anyone see the latest zatch bell. it had a giant robot with a head of a wolf. gees what with the japs and big robots

I don't like anime/manga. Over the years it has become very corny and uninspired, by shows like DragonBall Z.

I do like the 'American comic-style' (Spawn).

Dragonball, the original, wasn't so bad. But man, dragon ball Z and up, it just got dragged out. They ere and still are beating a horse so dead its glue now.

Last Exile is an amazing series as well. Beutiful opening song

The first anime I've ever set eyes upon, I think, is Speed Racer. And My Neiobor Totoro. At least one of them was good Speed Racer didnt interest me at all; while I loved Totoro.
The first anime series that caught my interest(sadly) was Pokemon I was really into that series for awhile Digimon as well...

The first anime I ever saw was either Pokemon or Sailor Moon. I can't remember which, but I do remember my nickname of "Sailor Raichu" that came as a result of it.

yeah i was in 6th grade so i didn't know any better well i used to like pok'emon. digimon is cool i still watch it.

Evidently there is an Urusei Yatsura OAV where Ataru turns into a werewolf, but I haven't found a way to obtain it yet

I love that series, it's completely insane.

I am an anime freak.

I love a lot of anime, i like most of the stuff that comes on Adult Swim, and some of the stuff on G4. THere was a really good one i read once and am going to look up again called Escaphlownae or something like that.

Well my first anime was probably Ninja scroll well it's a manga cartoon thats when teletoon use to show some pretty rank cartoons when I was a kid but now it sucks but yea ninja scroll was my first anime I ever watched.

That's the current list at the moment, not included a few finished Animes I have tucked on my laptop. My desktop, named Leo the Green Machine (a huge custom computer, completely green in every aspect down to the keyboard, mouse and LCD), is primarily for video. Bella is my Toshiba laptop for trip-movies and functional word processing. All are semi-geared for my anime obsessive-compulsiveness.

And I am currently in need of a 300 GB external hard drive...

I have a huge collection. It's amazing. And horrifying...

I'm going to stop listing stuff at this point though. I'm all ready such a huge freakin' nerd... Hah...
