You're not the 1st to change your name. Besides, I can turn it off in the admin panel. (Allow Username changes) I'll leave it on for now.

I thought it was hampster too. Hamton the Hamster doesn't have a 'p' and the creator said she left it out on purpose....

If you use Google, you'll find entries for both spellings of the word.

RL name: David Lynn Perkins (so ordinary, I dozed off while typing!).
"Were" name: Akugarou. It's the combination of 2 Japanese words: 'Aku', which can mean
evil, or
wicked. And 'Garou', which is basically a term meaning
hungry wolf. (fullmoonfury is the handle I post under, it's the first thing that came to mind while I was filling out my profile. Akugarou came much later, after way-y-y too much thought).
The Wicked, Hungry Wolf.
EDIT details: Holy sh--! I didn't know it was that easy to change the username!?! If I had known it was that easy, I would have changed it long ago (tho' fullmoonfury still rocks ..and it's mine! All mine! Muhhaha-ha-haa!!).
I tried to warn ya! But nah... 'It's just a lit'ul bunny'...

OK, this is going to play mind-games with me. I'm not sure I could keep straight everyone if the names got changed back and forth all the time, so please use name-changes with caution.
I'm all for people having the option to change names; some of us might regret signing up with the name "Werewolf Fan" after the first few days, not being used to being in a community where that's a given. I've done a few name changes over time; I used to use "Jon Littlerabbit" as a name fairly often. (Long story, but it involved a Celtic triskelion I made, based on a Brian Froud drawing inspired by an old Scottish cottage. I wore it when my wife Cathey and I first met, so it has special meaning.) Obviously, "little rabbit" on a werewolf board is kind of awkward.
But, I think my head might explode if I have to relearn every few weeks that Figarou is now Duckie Terminator and Outwarddoodles is now Inwarddoodles, after getting used to his being Llama Llover.

And seeing how much writing I did while on DR, I have no doubt there'll be a movie about me soon enough.

Just so you know, my board name and custom title will not change. It represents the character I made up. Not me in real life.
And Outwarddoodles is a 'she,' not a 'he.'
