Disgaea Anime Trailer
some of you may recall that some months ago it was announced there would be an anime adaptation of the somewhat popular Tactical RPG, Disgaea.
Well, it's about to his the airwaves in Japan, and the folks behind it put up a little trail in xvid format. IF you want, you can download this trailer from my website at...

Just copy and paste into your address bar.
For those of you without Broadband though, I've thrown together the following screencaps.
Laharl: Prince of the Netherworld
The Prinny Squad: Yes, those are penguins, demonic Penguins.
Flonne: Ditz, Angel Trainee, Ninja wannabe, nin nin.
Anyhow, the title actually looks REALLY good for a game to anime adaptation. The animation looks fluid and well done, though not absolutely perfect. The scenes follow the game pretty closely, and they have the same voice actors that performed in the Japanese version of the game, so voice acting is very good.
So, long story short, I'm very much looking forward to this.

Yeah those old Saterday Morning cartoons were pretty good at one point. Though looking back on them now, I often see a lot of political correctness and such that drives me nuts.
That's part of the reason I like anime. I mean, how politically correct can they get when one of the lead characters looks 12 and walks around in skimpy dominatrix gear? ;)
