The Llama revolution has begun!

On a serious note: Whew! I know llamas can really fight, and can be nasty creatures, but I didn't ever think they would outright attack someone like that. That's really not a good thing.

I really had now clue they could be so vicious heh.

At most I thought they would kick/spit not bite with 3 sets of teeth O_o and not THERE in that location especially!

Hey! I was about to post that, you beat me to it.
Llama teeth marks in the bone!? I too thought kicking was about the extent of their fighting ability. Wow

You've obviously never been around hooved animals before. They, like any creature with a mouth, can and will bite if they feel the need.

Horse bites can be pretty painful.

Weird...I wouldn't expect such behavior from a llama.

I've had cattle for a few years now, but that's about the only experience I've had with hooved animals beside sheep, but they're pretty docile. I was amazed not that the llama bit, but that the bite was so powerful. I've never really been around horses, but I don't doubt that they could do the same if they had teeth like that.

Well just think about what they eat for a minute. Get yourself a piece of hay and start chewing on it. It's almost like trying to bite through a wooden board. They need strong jaw muscles to chew their food.

Those teeth...da-yammm...they look like boar's tusks!! :scream:

I always gotta giggle when the PeTA types describe herbivores as "gentle vegetarians"...and think, "You've never handled a 2-year-old colt or been bitten by a goat, have you?"

True, didn't think of that.

Incase anyone wants to see how llamas fight:

You can thank Mounth Lehman Llamas for these vidoes:

(Yet if you ask me what's scarey about llamas fighting is the screaming sounds they make.)

Yeah - I see how the brown one was trying to go after the scrotum. Glad our bar fights don't result in public castration!
