[Map2] I can see my house from it! Woot!
Ya know... it can get annoying to be a member of multiple maps... but I found this one that uses Google's technology. I can even see my apartment building on this one.
So, without further ado... join this! Or, make a PACK Frap!

Gosh darn it Fig! Move a few miles West so I can see who that is you're blocking!
EDIT:
*zooms in reaaaaally really close*
Hm. You know, considering it's mapping out the entire planet, it wasn't that far off.

Holy &%$#!....
I just realized how far I could zoom in with the frapper map.
I can almost pick out my car in the parking lot (or where it would be if I had been parked in my usual spot in front of the apartments when the photo was taken, anyway).
It's too bad the map wont allow you to specify closer than the general aria code...otherwise I could pin-point exactly which corner of the building I am in as I am typing right now.
Meh...I think I will anyway.
"Hello!..."

Where I used to have a couple hours of it per day, I have about 15 minutes per day. I'm still lurking for the most part (responding to and reading a lot less than I used to).

You know what the only depressing thing about the satellite image is? Being able to mark everywhere you've been in the past month in one single BMP.

Red: Where I live (first floor, look for the rubber duck).
Blue: Where my mailbox is.
Yellow: Boyden Hall, where most of my classes are.
Green: Campus Plaza where I do my banking, grocery shopping, video rentals and trips to McDonalds when it's late and the only other place still open is KFC.
Pink: The Rondileau Campus Center, home of the Commuter Cafeteria (great food except for Quijotes, which was originally a Taco Bell but was distanced from the chain restaurant because it didn't meet Taco Bell's standards of quality (and this is the company that pioneered the $0.29 taco, so how bad must that be?)), as well as my another good portion of the classes I've taken.
Orange: The haunted art building..
Purple: The Daily Grind. Great coffee.
Brown: The egg farmer I have to walk by on my way to class every day -- I'm alsmost certain this is the only place on Earth where you can simultaneously hear roosters crowing to your left and 200-watt bass-cranked car steroes on your right.
