I have a GeForce FX 5200 video card. Nearly four years old. It can run HL2 at the lowest settings no problem. Garry's Mod doesn't require great visuals, just the creative environment. I've already uploaded models into that mod easilly dispite my hardware's shortcomings. I think you wouldn't have much of a problem if you have a PC built in the last five years.

It can? Really? AWESOME! The video card is one of the reasons that I haven't bought the game, but I'm pretty sure I have the exact same card on my Linux computer, so that information combined with this is awesome news if my new OS works with my graphics card.Kaebora wrote:I have a GeForce FX 5200 video card. I wish they would bring back SS, and I know that there is a newer one coming out, but I dislike how the single player is going to have to be something you order.

Because a social life is a lot more fun. Anyone who is an ace at WOW, have a reputation for being completely alone in real life.
Hence, why I only play games that you can pick up and play without spending weeks "leveling up". FPSs, simulators, RTS... it's all about skill, and nothing to do with stats. Much more gratifying, and you still have the time to go out and chill with friends and family.
