Lamest excuses given by pretend werewolves on the forums...

Post by Renorei »

...for why they can't provide proof of their lycanthropy.

This thread will hopefully serve as a deterrent to would-be werewolf imposters who visit our forums. If you honestly think that you can force your opinions about werewolves on us as "fact" and try to make us believe it because you say you are a werewolf, wake up and realize you're going to have to offer proof before anyone gives a shred of consideration to your posts. So be ready to back up your claims if you want to be taken seriously!

Refrain from using any of the following ridiculous, overused, completely moronic excuses for why you can't provide proof of your werewolfism.

Pack members, post your favorite lame 'this-is-why-I-can't-prove-I'm-a-werewolf' excuse.

My personal favorite, an old classic:
"Well, I would post pics of myself in werewolf form, but the pictures always come out blurry."

Puh-leeze. :P That's not creative or original. Buh bye!

Another one might be that nobody was around to take a photo because it was impossible to.

How about this one.

"There are no photos of me in my werewolf form because, I have no control over myself and I end up slaughtering anyone that might want to take my picture"

or just how about this one.

"I am just too l33t for the camera in my werewolf form. It can't handle the radiance of my l33tness. For my l33tness has an anti-photo pwning mechanism that pwns every camera that points in my dire*gets shot in the head with a silver bullet and dies instantly*"

I’m surprised people missed the most overused one: “I would post evidence, but then I would risk exposing myself, and the authorities would come to get me!”
Bill: "I'm looking for my wife."
Marsha: "....Why?"

Yeah, that one is my favorite

Also I've heard...
'I would post a pitcture of myself as a werewolf, but I dont have a webcam.' 'I'll get my webcam in soon.' Then they never post again. lol

Man! i can't stand that! there is nothing i hate more that n00bish behavior, and is a prime example of n00bishness if i ever seen one. I can believe that so called werewolf is a kid between the ages of 8-14 trying to get some attention.

I haven't done online, but i'm ashamed to admit that in my sophmore year i have claimed to be a werewolf on more than one occation

Believe it or not, I had some people PM me asking if I was a real werewolf.

A REAL WEREWOLF!? Puh-leeze!! I'm a werewolf fan!! I like werewolves. I like art, stories and movies about werewolves. But I don't claim to be one. Nor will I claim they exist.

If you role-play as a werewolf, knock yourself out. There is a section for it. Like drawing werewolves? Cool! I love werewolf art!! I have my own werewolf character if you want to draw him.

Claiming to BE a werewolf? SEEK HELP!!

Some of the excuses for not posting a picture is that they don't want to be caught. Ummm...hello!! You have an IP address!! As soon as you make a post about claiming to be a werewolf, it can be traced back to your PC!! Think people, THINK!!!

Some say they don't want to be nude in front of the camera. Or they don't have a camera. Camera is broken.

Sheesh...why don't they make it simple by just going to the mall and exposing themselves in front of everyone! Get on the news! That'll make us believe.

Suuuure, that's what you tell us.

But I agree, a real werewolf would know better than to go to a public place and announce to the world what he/she is.

If you are a werewolf, fine, but don't ask us to believe you if you can't back it up.

sits back and thinks casually on this a moment.

... hmm.. I wonder what would really happen to the world if someone actually DID post real proof instead of excuses. ... interesting catch 22 methinks.

I hope there really aren't any real werewolves out there, I'd feel pretty bad for em if there were.

Even if they provide video proof, people will think its computer generated.

Also a photo can be manipulated in Photoshop.

They need to go out in public to prove it. A picture or private video posted on the forum won't work.

I agree with all of you. If someone says they're a werewolf and keep pushing it, I think they should be banned really. They're waisting space in the forums and waisting everyone elses time. And Even if they just say it like once, then it goes out of proportion. It's just all a waist. I used that word too many times didn't I?

Even if there were real werewolves in the world...I doubt they'd be dumb enough to expose themselves.

I'm not completely sure I don't beleive they're not real. There's a possiblility. There are real Vampires, so why can't there be real werewolves? I still think it's stupid for foney people to lie about saying they are werewolves.
