Well, Further Confusion 2011 has come and gone. Lots of canids in the Fursuit Parade. Lots of fun at the con. In 2012 Further Confusion will be held in the San Jose Convention Center. Two hotels are directly connected to the convention center, The Hilton and the Marriott.

Though information is scanty, there is enough to reveal that this private community includes more than just vampires, but also other bump in the night folks like werewolves among its residents:

Well, Scott, consider the similarities that do exist between Wolf Society and Human. Both are pack animals, I would submit.

Actually if it was done out of an emergency necessity when nothing formal could be done, then I would not be at all surprised if something more familial or formal in a loose sense would be done later to make the event of the new membership in the pack recognized as special.

Sometimes during films, folks heading out are making emergency runs to the watercloset.

Did you see folks coming in while the film was running ?

I am gonna own a copy of 'There Will Be Blood". Watched it and loved it.

Also saw "No Country For Old Men", and that is a good film also. Now I am rather a fan of the Coen Brothers, but frankly, despite what the Academy decided, I think 'There Will Be Blood' is actually the better film.

I missed this post when you put it up. I did attend Further Confusion 2008 and had a blast. The theme this year was The Fur East. This year's T Shirt Art was awesome as well. I am already registered for FC 2009, so maybe we shall meet at that time. Eh ?

Well speaking of DNA coding and designer class persons I have a question:

Does anyone here think that the same world in which geneticists might create an uber class, would not also at some point create a teeming class of beings to serve as an exploitable underclass ?

In nature, humans seldom grow tails, and yet, for some, the proof is in the seeing. There are persons with small tails, with the striated muscle and nervous wiring that they can move said tail.

Perhaps most of us here have seen the video clip of it in action.
