I tend to discount a werewolf network larger than a single pack, because the alpha mentality would prohibit cooporative efforts. In the movie BLOOD & CHOCOLATE the main character refuses to discuss werewolves with an unknowing human, but in the book it was based on she was quite willing to do so. It's one of those things that depends on the individual.

There was that gawd-awful movie CURSED, with a line one female used that still stands out for me, "There's no such thing as safe sex with a werewolf."

Some dogs are very stubborn, and do not know how to back down. I'm not suggesting they'd win, but it would get embarrassing for the werewolf in human form to be outed that way.

I'd think most dogs would actually see a werewolf as a powerful alpha male, and respond with fearful submission or extreme violence to establish dominance.

Liquid silver doesn't remain liquid unless it is constantly heated, so the idea of using those bullets from Underworld seems as unlikely as creating UV bullets. To me, anyway.

I like to believe that anyone, anyone, you see walking down the street could be a werewolf. If there are outward traits while in human form, these are probably characteristic of a willing decision to remain minutely shifted, either to take advantage of heightened abilities, or person preference.
